Our Mission

We exist to promote oral health for all

Our Vision

We see a future where all oral health needs are met.

Our Values

Make an Impact

We discipline ourselves to focus resources where we can have the greatest impact on improving oral health.  We have a proclivity toward action and expect our dollars to make a difference.

Champion Integrity

We hold ourselves to the highest standards of consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values.  We do what we say we're going to do and have a strong commitment to honoring the intention of donor dollars.

Give Compassion

We look to solve oral health problems with compassion and concern for human needs to prevent pain and suffering, particularly for patients that face barriers to care.

Innovate

We seek to foster a culture of innovation to discover solutions to tomorrow's oral health problems.  We learn lessons from failure & grow.  With e a long-term focus, we are not afraid to take prudent risks.

Collaborate

We carry out our mission with and through others.  We are open to listening to promising ideas and always interested in a mutually beneficial relationship.

Who We Are

Imagine a world where everyone's oral health needs are met.  Children learning healthy oral health habits from their parents, growing up into adults without cavities, and thriving throughout their lives without tooth pain.

The North Dakota Dental Foundation is a Section 501(c)(3) organization established September 22nd, 1986 to foster and promote dental health. The Foundation board is comprised of dental health professionals as well as members from outside the profession that have a passion for dental health.

The North Dakota Dental Foundation offers grant opportunities and in-kind services for programs that meet our core purposes. We do this by focusing on making improvements to access to care, education, and workforce.

Our focus is on supporting initiatives that create lasting improvement in oral health.  We see a future where all oral health needs are met.
